Our Purpose

Morningstar Church exists to glorify God by teaching His Word, growing in grace, loving like Christ, and making disciples who repent, grow in holiness, and live for His glory.

Morningstar Church is still in its early days, and this is a unique time to come grow with us. We are praying that the Lord would build a church family rooted in His Word, full of grace, and ready to serve Columbia County.

Church Family and Discipleship

We are a small church family where kids are welcome in the service and no one has to have it all together. After worship we stay for lunch and a short group time so we can grow in grace, build friendships, and help one another follow Christ.

What You Can Expect

At Morningstar Church, we keep things simple and centered on God’s Word. We gather for worship, prayer, and singing, and we stay connected through discipleship, Bible study, and time together after service. Whether you have lived in the area for years or you are new to Lake City, you are welcome to join us and find peace in Christ.

Worship Services

Church life is more than Sunday. Join us for Gospel by the Fire, Bible study, and simple gatherings where friendships grow and we encourage one another to follow Jesus in everyday life. We also host community events like our annual BBQ tournament.

Need prayer or someone to talk with? We would be honored to pray for you and walk with you. You can send a private prayer request, and we will respond as soon as we can.
